Patricia Arquette, who spoke up for gender equality during her Oscar speech, has continued her rant on Twitter saying that she doesn't care if people are pissed.
The 'Boyhood' star, who demanded equal pay for women in her acceptance speech, said that the truth was that wage inequality adversely affected women, E! Online reported.
The 46-year-old actress said in one of her tweets that this is a call to action as women were being discriminated and it was having serious consequences on them and their children.
Arquette's another tweet stated that when people said that equal pay will devastate the economy they were so far off the mark and the money women make will go back into this economy.
The American actress added that according to her they need federal laws that were comprehensive as in different states, they have altogether thrown out the Fairness Voting Act.
