Taylor Swift pips Katy Perry to be named Elle's Woman of the Year
Taylor Swift has been named as Woman of the Year at Elle Style Awards after beating Katy Perry, who won the award previous year.
The 25-year-old songstress was presented with her award at the event by another winner, Sam Smith, who was named musician of the year, the Mirror reported.
'X-Factor' guru Simon Cowell was recognized for his outstanding contribution to entertainment.
