The Government on Wednesday slashed the price of Petrol by Rs. 1.46 per litre and of Diesel by Rs. 1.53 per litre.
The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to effect the price changes with effect from midnight of November 15th.
With this petrol in Delhi will cost Rs. 66.36 per litre and the Diesel will cost Rs. 62.14, including VAT, from midnight.
"The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant decrease in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision," the official release stated.
This comes after the fuel prices were on a hike in the past two months.
