A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight parked at Canada's Toronto Pearson International Airport on Friday, could not take off on time for Lahore as it was hit by a refuelling vehicle.
The flight, according to the Dawn, was delayed by 16 hours.
Flight PK-798 was scheduled to take off at 7.40 p.m. local time, but was damaged when a refuelling vehicle operated by a local company collided with the plane's engine during refuelling.
PIA spokesman Mashood Tajwar said the plane was subsequently shifted to a hangar for necessary repairs.
All passengers have been provided accommodation in hotels.
The flight will now depart for Lahore from Toronto at 9 p m (Pakistan time) on Saturday.
