Nick Jonas has replaced original headliner Iggy Azalea at Pittsburgh Pride after the 25-year-old rapper backed out following criticism from the LGBTQ community.
Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh tweeted "We're thrilled to announce that multi-platinum selling recording artist and actor Nick Jonas is the new headliner," the Mirror reported.
Jonas said in a statement that he is "excited" to do everything he could to support the local community.
Azalea, who was due to headline the Pride in the Street concert on June 13, was criticised by Pittsburgh City Council president Bruce Kraus, the city's first gay elected official, with other LGBT groups threatening to pull out of the celebrations.
She backed out of the event after apologising for comments she made "as a young person" and said she "deeply regrets" remarks made on Twitter in the past.
