Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Saturday said the political wave in favour of the NDA in Bihar will turn into a tsunami with the arrival Prime Minister Narendra Modi, their biggest star campaigner.

"Our alliance is strong in Bihar. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come, the wave will turn into a political tsunami and people of the Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance of JD(U), RJD, SP,) will merely score in single digit," Hussain told ANI here.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Bihar and the people of this state have a lot of hope from him(PM Modi). In the last 35 years in Bihar, Lalu Prasad ruled for 15 years, Congress ruled for 10 years and Nitish for 10 years. They have ruled Bihar for 420 months in the last 35 years, but have not done any work in the state," he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will walk into the Bihar elections as soon as he returns from the United States. Prime Minister Modi will address an election rally at Banka on October 2.

Elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between October 12 and November 5.The counting of votes will take place on November 8.The term of the current assembly expires on November 29.
