Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon on Tuesday assured people that Ram Temple will be made at the earliest in Ayodhya.
Tandon was here to attend the inauguration of the Queen Huh Memorial at Queen Huh Park where a cultural programme by South Korean and Indian artistes was organised.
When Tandon started his speech, people in the crowd started screaming "Mandir ka nirman karo (Construct the [Ram] Temple)," demanding the construction of Ram Temple at the disputed land in Ayodhya.
In reply, Tandon said, "Don't worry, soon that day is coming. I know that Ayodhya has been waiting for a long time for that auspicious day for which you all are raising your voices. That day will come very soon."
Before Tandon, Minister of State for External Affairs, General (Retd.) VK Singh also had to deal with similar slogans from the audience.
In his speech, Singh said, "This is the second time when Deepotsav has been organised. It reminds us of the past... I feel that people will get to see a lot in the coming years."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and South Korean first lady Kim-Jung Sook on Tuesday inaugurated the Queen Huh Memorial.
The grand celebrations of the Diwali festivities in Ayodhya is set to achieve a world record as three lakh diyas have been lit as a part of Deepotsav.
