Real boss accidently reveals iconic Bernabeu stadium's new name

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has accidently revealed the potential new name of the club's iconic Bernabeu stadium as either IPIC Bernabeu or CEPSA Bernabeu.

Madrid's renovated stadium, featuring a striking new roof, brand new exterior, hotel and a shopping centre, is expected to be completed by 2017. The renovation of the stadium has been financed by the club entering a new strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi fund International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC), reported the Mirror.

Read Madrid chief said during an event that they are either going to put the stadium's name as IPIC Bernabeu or CEPSA Bernabeu.

The stadium could also be named after CEPSA (Compania Espanola de Petroleos), one of the belongings of IPIC.

However, an uncertainty regarding the renewed features has come forth after a Madrid court declared that a deal between Real and the Madrid council regarding the use of the land should be suspended.
