Former Chelsea and Birmingham City striker Mikael Forssell almost missed training on Tuesday and that was because of a cat.
Forssell, who now pursues his trade in Germany's second tier with VFL Bochum these days, was unable to get into his car as cats were camped by his door.
The former Finland international is allergic to the felines and posted on Twitter that he is allergic to cats, adding that he needs to leave for training. He added that it was semi-scary and the cat had been there now for about 20 minutes rubbing against rubber, The Mirror reported.
Forsell spent a decade in English football between 1998-2008 spending time with Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Birmingham, scoring over 50 league goals but suffering with a number of injuries.
After a three-year stint with Bundesliga side Hannover, he returned in 2011-12 for 15 scoreless appearances with Leeds United, the report added.
