Rebel Wilson set to star in Private Benjamin remake

Rebel Wilson will star in the New Line's next venture which is a remake of military-inspired 1980 comedy 'Private Benjamin'.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 'Pitch Perfect' star will be joined by a wealthy "city girl" friend, who is also looking to change her life, in the remake, People magazine reported.

The project, which will see the title character as a redneck that runs off from a bad life situation by joining the Marines, will be produced by Mark Gordon.
