Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Friday said his party has requested Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, all the central ministers and the chief ministerial candidates of the Congress and BJP - Ajay Maken and Kiran Bedi- to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Arvind Kejriwal.
"We have requested the LG, all central ministers, the Prime Minister and the chief ministerial candidates of both parties (Congress and the BJP) to come and join us for the oath-taking tomorrow," Sisodia said.
Kejriwal, who led his party to a historic win in the assembly polls, will be taking oath at the Ramlila Maidan at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
The preparations at Ramlila Maidan for Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony are underway. Seating arrangements for nearly 40,000 people have been made.
Security has also been beefed up in and around the venue along with the installation of 40 CCTV cameras.
It is being reported that the first Cabinet meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Delhi Secretariat on Saturday. According to reports, a list of Cabinet Ministers has been forwarded to the Lieutenant Governor.
Sisodia, who is a close confidant of Kejriwal, is likely to be made the deputy chief minister.
The other AAP leaders likely to be induced in the Cabinet are Jitendra Tomar (Tri Nagar), Kapil Mishra (Karawal Nagar), Sandeep Kumar (Sultanpuri Majra), Asim Ahmed Khan (Matia Mahal), Badana Kumari (Shalimar Bagh) and Gopal Rai (Babarpur) and Saryendra Jain ( Shakur Basti).
