The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to rock out with Bruno Mars during the Super Bowl halftime show in February, it has been revealed.
The rockers are already scheduled to perform at a pre-Super Bowl event in Brooklyn, New York on 1 February, but Mars has reportedly invited them to appear with him at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 2 February, Contactmusic reported.
Representatives for the R and B star and the National Football League (NFL) have declined to comment on the reports, but Mars is expected to make the big announcement during the Fox network broadcast of the New Orleans Saints play-off game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to the Los Angeles Times.
