Rooney will be playing next season, says ex Man U chief David Gill

Former Old Traffor chief David Gill insisted that Wayne Rooney will be at Manchester United for the next season.

In a report by Daily Star, David Gill who has been voted on UEFA's executive committee said that he was confident that Rooney is a great player and the club doesn't want to lose the star player.

Rooney recently denied having put forth any official transfer request and speculations arose about him being thrown out of the club forcibly.
