RS polls sting operation: EC seeks report from Karnataka CEO

After the it received queries from various mediapersons regarding alleged sting operations by some channels on the Rajya Sabha elections in Karnataka, the Election Commission on Friday sought a report from the State Chief Electoral Officer.

In the sting operation, a group of MLAs from Karnataka were being shown by a television news channel purportedly demanding money for supporting a candidate in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
