A Special Armed Force (SAF) jawan allegedly committed suicide in Chhatarpur early Saturday morning.
"He belonged to SAF 29 battalion. He was on duty at SP office from 3 to 6. At around 4-4.30 o clock a gunshot was heard. He was found dead on the spot. I was informed immediately," said Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police Lalit Shakyawar.
"Till now there has no proof of why he committed suicide. His family members have been informed and we will talk to them about why this happened," he added.
