Sam Raimi's hit film 'The Evil Dead' is set to make a comeback with a10-episode straight-to-series order in 2015.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series titled 'Ash Sam Raimi Vs. Evil Dead', will be a followup to the classic film franchise and will reteam the original makers director Raimi, longtime producing partner Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell who will serve as executive producers.
Sam Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.
When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his personal and literal demons.
