Unidentified men shot dead a Samajwadi Party (SP) corporator in Lucknow on Sunday.
The corporator Atul Yadav was immediately admitted to the trauma centre here.
"He had come to attend the funeral ceremony of Putana Devi, where he was shot by unidentified people in his head," said a police official.
"We will do the required investigation in the matter," he added.
