Security forces busted a militant hideout in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
Acting on secret information, troops of 10 Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian army and district police of Doda launched a joint operation in the Basti forest area.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Doda, Z.N. Manhas, said that they have recovered a 303 rifle, a single barrel rifle, one Chinese pistol, 57 rounds of the 303, six rounds of the Chinese pistol, a walkie-talkie and a cell phone from the busted hideout.
"Our teams of the Doda district police and 10 RR went to the spot, searched the area and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition," he said.
