Shoe hurled at Rahul Gandhi, accused arrested

A shoe was thrown at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi during his roadshow in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Gandhi, riding in an open top vehicle, was seen looking at the shoe thrown in his direction and then looking away after the object missed him.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the accused.

Gandhi is in Uttar Pradesh campaigning for his party for the upcoming elections in the state.

He Gandhi has been organising 'Khat Sabha' in different parts of the state in order to interact with farmers and discuss their problems.
