The Appointments Committee of Cabinet on Monday appointed new chiefs of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the National Security Guard (NSG) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
The ACC announced that O.P. Singh, a 1983 batch Indian Police Service officer from Uttar Pradesh, would be next Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the HAG+ pay scale (pre-revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The ACC announced Sudhir Pratap Singh, a 1983 batch Indian Police Service officer from Rajasthan, as the Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG) in HAG+ pay scale (pre revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of this superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
R. K. Pachnanda, a 1983 batch Indian Police Service officer from West Bengal, would be the next Director General of the NDRF in the HAG+ pay scale (pre revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2018 or until further orders whichever is earlier.
The government, however, cancelled the appointment of P.C. Thakur, a 1979 batch Indian Police Service officer from Gujarat, as Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards.
