Defending champion Ajay Jayaram continued his rich vein of form as he stormed into the pre-quarterfinals of the Dutch Open Badminton tournament following a straight-set win in Almere.
Third seed Jayaram, who finished runners-up at the Korea Open Super series last month, claimed a 21-14, 21-10 win over Germany's Fabian Roth in the second round to set up next match against Kasper Lehikoinen of Finland.
Meanwhile, ninth seed RMV Gurusaidutt overcame Chinese Taipei's Chun-Wei Chen 21-14, 21-19 in the second round.
