Spielberg not to direct 'American Sniper'

Steven Spielberg has dropped his plans to direct 'American Sniper', which is an adaptation of Chris Kyle's autobiography of the same name.

According to Deadline.com, the Bradley Cooper starrer movie has been dropped by Spielberg due to budget issues, the Huffington Post reported.

The 66-year-old director, who was first attached to the film in May, had earlier put an indefinite delay on 'Robopocalyse' which was set to star Chris Hemsworth and Anne Hathaway.
