Srinagar receives season's first snowfall

Srinagar has recorded the first snowfall of the season, bringing relief to the valley.

The city received snowfall on Thursday for the first time this season and it brought cheers on people of valley that was facing a long dry spell.

The snowfall will be helpful for quantity and quality of crops of farmers and fruit growers during summer as their agriculture lands and orchards were dry.

So people are expecting more snowfall and that will help to increase the water level of rivers and streams of valley.
