England football captain Steven Gerrard's relative is reportedly wanted by the police over an alleged 60 million pounds cocaine trafficking plot.

Robert Gerrard, 50, known in the family as "Uncle Bobby," is on a list of eight British fugitives allegedly hiding in the Netherlands.

According to Sky News, Robert is said to be linked to a Rotterdam cafe that was used as a meeting place for drug gangs to negotiate with international cartels and is believed to be a second cousin of the Liverpool player.

The National Crime Agency and the Crimestoppers charity have launched a Most Wanted appeal for the public's help in locating, arresting and extraditing the fugitives to the UK.

Uncle Bobby is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, with blue eyes and brown hair, a Liverpool accent and a two-inch curved scar on the right side of his face.

Meanwhile, Crimestoppers chair and founder Lord Ashcroft hoped that these campaigns gave a clear message to British fugitives that escaping abroad does not mean they could escape justice for their crimes.
