Red Bull's ace racer Sebastian Vettel has put his hat in the ring for a drive at pacesetters Mercedes as he is upset with the performance of his car in this Formula One season.
The four-time world champion is reportedly unhappy with Red Bull's poor performance due to their new car, which is sure to cost him his crown, and has become a shock threat to the Formula 1 futures of both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Vettel reportedly wants to drive at pacesetters Mercedes and at the same time the world champion is speculated to have become the chief target for McLaren as they team up with Formula One legends Honda for 2015, The Mirror reported.
Vettel's first choice beyond the team that has made him a four-time champion is surely rampant Mercedes who have won nine of the first 10 races this season and threaten to dominate the sport for years to come.
Vettel said that he currently does not find Mercedes' three-pointed star logo 'sexy' because it is constantly in front of Red Bull.
But, he added that if stars mean titles, then stars are something great. Vettel said that as a sportsman one should always have the goal to be as high as possible.
