Taken! Soccer stud Landon Donovan engaged to girlfriend

Landon Donovan if off the market and is engaged to his girlfriend Hannah Bartell.

The 32-year-old former L.A. Galaxy player hunk took to Facebook to announce his happy news and wrote "Good morning! I want to thank you all for your continued support as I've transitioned into a new chapter of my life. I've received many beautiful/powerful messages and gifts and I'm so incredibly grateful," E! Online reported.

He added "I recently got engaged to the love of my life, Hannah. I have never been this happy and I'm excited for our future together! Thanks again for all the love and have a great week!"

Donovan also spoke about his retirement saying that it was everything I could have hoped for, and he had love the trips to Peru and Ecuador to visit orphanages, Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Oregon, India and the Maldives, and was looking forward more trips to come.

His time with his family and friends in the last 2 months was more than he had spent combined in 16 years, he added.

Donovan also shared a smiley shot of him and Hannah, showing off her stunning pear-shaped diamond sparkler, and the L.A. Galaxy also sent the bride and groom to-be well wishes on Instagram.
