Tamara Ecclestone, who started dating her new boyfriend Jay Rutland in January after being introduced by mutual friends, shocked the world by announcing that she was engaged to him just one month later.
The F1 heiress told the Mirror that the couple's engagement has been very sudden and she knows that there are people who won't understand that and will read things into it.
She said that, however, her response to that would be, "when you know, you know."
The 28-year-old model asserted that she has heard people say these things before and she never understood it, as she hadn't experienced it herself.
Ecclestone said that when she met Rutland she thought that he was the one who she is going to marry.
She added that she has never been in a relationship where she has been able to be herself and feel so comfortable.
