The 28-year-old rapper made his way to the stage as the 26-year-old crooner, threw her hands in the air and screamed to his winning debut, reports People Magazine.

Swift opened the show with her epic performance of 'Out of the Woods' and then took to the front row- center when Lamar's opus 'To Pimp A Butterfly' won 'best rap album' at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
The pair also won the award for 'best music video' ahead of the telecast for 'Bad Blood.
