Chelsea has reportedly teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox, the makers of the show, to create a line of Chelsea-branded merchandise for Springfield's famous father and son, Homer and Bart.
Following the deal, the Daily Star has compared ten famous Chelsea names with characters from popular animated US TV series 'The Simpsons'.
According to the report, the club's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has been compared to Mr Burns, a reclusive billionaire character with a ruthless streak, while boss Jose Mourinho was compared to the Mayor, Joe Quimby, because of the pair's popularity and power.
Captain John Terry was compared to the bully Nelson Muntz for 'terrorising Premier League opponents for more than a decade', while Gary Cahill was shown as being similar to Muntz's crony Jimbo Jones, who is always eager to help his friend, like Cahill.
David Luiz and Petr Cech have been respectively compared to the sideshows Bob and Mel on Krusty the clown's show in The Simpsons, because of their unusual hair and headgear.
Meanwhile, veteran Frank Lampard was compared to Lenny Leonard, because of their similarities in being longtime characters at the Stamford Bridge and the show respectively, while young star Oscar was compared to the fresh-faced and innocent Todd Flanders, Bart's friend.
Fernando Torres has been compared to salesman Gil Gunderson because of their struggling lives while Samuel Eto'o, whose days as a top star are almost behind him, was compared to actor Troy Mcclure, the report added.
