A water part in New Jersey in the US has opened up a water park which boasts of a 609 metres long water slide.
Action Park in Vernon says that the colossal Xtreme slide, which arrived from New Zealand a couple of weeks ago, is just short of a half-mile in length, and measures five feet wide, the Mirror reported.
It is estimated that it would take between 60 to 90 seconds to ride the slide.
Excited about their opening, the water park has been tweeting and had even shared an image of the process of building the ride, which will be verified by Guinness Book of World Records officiator before world's largest title is given to it.
Inflated by two generators and 15 blowers, the slide takes around 4,500 litres to run, and is made out of 20 separate 300m pieces weighing 70st each.
