Hollywood actor Tom Hardy is all set to become an animated character in the upcoming BBC drama.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will lend his voice in animated drama titled 'Sticky' and will play the role of one of four best friends, who attend a college in the fictitious London borough of Shatford.

The story focuses when the internet suddenly disappears and the world is thrown into chaos. Can the friends cope offline? Who would kidnap the web, and why? How long do we really expect the planet to survive without internet porn? Only the gang can solve these questions as they embark on a thrilling rescue mission to infiltrate the headquarters of the mysterious perpetrators of this heinous web-based crime.

The other friends will be voiced by Kayvan Novak ('Four Lions', 'Fonejacker'), Charlotte Riley ('Edge of Tomorrow', 'Peaky Blinders') and Javone Prince ('Phoneshop', 'The Javone Prince Show'), and, according to the release, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will make "guest appearances."

'Sticky', from Too Tall Productions and set to appear on the digital channel BBC Three, is one of 12 new comedy pilots announced Wednesday by the U.K. broadcaster.

Tom Hardy is currently flying high in the box-office smash 'Dunkirk' as the movie continues its successful run at the global box-office.
