At least two persons were killed after a building collapsed in Kolkata's Bowbazar area on Tuesday
Reportedly, few people, including a young lady and an accountant, were fear trapped in the debris.
Earlier, Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee, present at the incident spot, said that the building was being used as a warehouse.
Chatterjee told the media, "As per the instructions of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, around 1,200 buildings are there which are considered dilapidated."
He further informed that the debris were being cleared and the case was being discussed with the police authorities.
