Teasing his fans and escalating their curiosity, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has unveiled the official teaser of his much-awaited action-thriller 'Uri'.
The 'Raazi' star who plays an army officer in the Aditya Dhar directorial, shared a one-minute clip having glimpses of him gunning down terrorists and leading army men in the surgical strikes following terror attacks on the Indian Army Camp in Uri, Kashmir.
With powerful sound effects and spectacular visual effects, the film promises a good cinematic experience.
"A defining moment in India's military history. A moment that paved a path to a new, stronger India. Here's presenting, #URITeaser," tweeted the 'Love Per Square Foot' actor.
In July this year, the 30-year-old had injured his right arm badly during the shooting of an action sequence in Serbia. Despite the injury, Kaushal resumed the shoot following a short break during which he returned to Mumbai for a few days.
The 'Sanju' star also underwent training as the film requires him to pull off some daredevil stunts.
'Uri' is based on Indian army's effective Surgical Strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) following the attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri town on September 29, 2016.
The movie, which is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala, also features 'Kaabil' star Yami Gautam, 'Oh My God' star Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles.
It is slated to hit theatres on January 11 next year.
