Craig Magaw, the Deputy Director of the Secret Service, recently issued a new memo that has new guidelines on the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

The memo stated that employees might not operate government owned, leased, or rented vehicle (GOV) within ten (10) hours of consuming an alcoholic beverage, adding that all previous policies regarding the consumption of alcohol and the operation of a GOV had been cancelled with immediate effect, CNN reported.

The memo added that the employees violating this policy would be subjected to full range of available disciplinary, and adverse actions up to and including removal from employment.
