Manchester United football team boss Louis van Gaal has admitted that he would have to win the Premier League to be as good as Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Even though Mourinho was once Van Gaal's assistant at Barcelona, the Dutchman has conceded that the Chelsea boss has overtaken his achievements through winning titles in four countries.
Mourinho, who brings his table-topping team to Old Trafford on Sunday, has won titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain, The Mirror reported.
Van Gaal, meanwhile, has achieved title triumphs in three countries; Holland, Spain and Germany.
At a football writers' tribute dinner to Mourinho this year, Van Gaal admitted that Mourinho is better than him.
And ahead of Sunday's big battle the United boss said that he meant that of course, adding that Mourinho has won titles in a shorter time than he has and added that the Chelsea boss has won them in more than three countries.
Van Gaal said that he is next with championships in three countries and wants to do that again at United, adding that then he would be equal. He also said that he thinks Mourinho is one of the top trainer-coaches and managers in the world.
The Dutchman said that all Mourinho's teams are always well organised, and he likes that and added that it is why he is a very good manager.
