Veteran music composer and lyricist Ravindra Jain on Friday passed away in Mumbai's Lilavati hospital.
The 71-year-old music composer was suffering from a urinary infection causing a problem in his kidney and was undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed condolence on his demise."I was a big fan of his music, I pay my respects to him," Gadkari said.
Jain composed music for hit films like "Chor Machaye Shor", "Geet Gaata Chal", "Chitchor" and "Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se", in the 70s.
