Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits several nations, but has no time to visit the house of a single suffering farmer in the country.
"Prime Minister went to USA and other countries but till now he has not gone to the house of even one suffering farmer in India," Rahul said at the convention of representatives of panchayats and urban local bodies here.
"Yahan jo kisaan mar raha hai uske baare mein ek shabd nahi kehte pradhan mantri ji (The Prime Minister does not utter a single word about the suffering farmers)," he added.
Rahul also accused Prime Minsiter Modi of trying to run the nation through Prime Minister's Office (PMO and bureaucrats.
"The Prime Minister wants PMO and bureaucrats to run the nation," he said.
