Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has extended his World Championship lead after claiming a convincing victory in the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
According to Sky Sports, the defending champion took the chequered flag 16.8 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso with Lewis Hamilton completing the podium after starting the race from pole position.
Vettel said after the race that once he was past Hamilton, he got incredible pace and could control the race, adding that it was a fantastic result.
The German now has a 46 points lead over Fernando Alonso.
