Vyapam scam: Five cases registered by CBI
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered five FIRs in connection with the Vyapam scam.
The FIRs have been registered in Pre-Medical Test 2010, Pre-Post Graduation Medical Examination 2011, irregularities in Pre-Medical Test 2009 and 2010, Forest Guard Recruitment in 2013 and Pre-Medical Test 2011.
The CBI has constituted a special team of 40 officers, headed by a Joint Director level officer, to probe the scam.
The Supreme Court had last week transferred all cases relating to the Vyapam scam to the CBI.
