Sufi music is not just any other genre of music and is considered as a way to connect with the almighty and the Wadali Brothers from Amritsar, Punjab are one of the messengers, who are doing their job responsibly.
The Padmashree awardee duo recently landed in the national capital for a live Radio Mirchi concert with an intention to mesmerize the audience with their soulful music and melodic voice.
Before taking to the stage, Puranchand Wadali exclusively told ANI, "We love performing in the capital as the Delhi crowd has a good ear for Sufi music and it is always wonderful performing here."
The duo easily managed to captivate the audience's attention with their hits like 'Aa Mil Yaar', 'Rangrez', 'Charka' and 'Assan Te Tainu Rab Manya' among others.
The Wadali Brothers have equally gained fame with their independent music and Bollywood songs, however, they feel there is a huge difference between Sufi music and people who think they croon Sufi songs in B-Town.
When asked how other Sufi singers are doing in Bollywood, the Wadali Brothers, who have lent their voices in movies like 'Pinjar', 'Dhoop' and 'Tanu Weds Manu', said that they are doing fine and they like all of them.
The pair has performed in the first season of Coke Studio as well and has gained fame globally.
