The popular Dacia Duster (known as Renault Duster) was launched in global market in 2010, and in India the sports utility vehicle made its debut in July 2012. The car has been generating huge numbers for the French auto maker, and is all set to get a mid-life facelift in the international market. The facelifted Dacia Duster has been spotted couple of times, and if rumors to believe it will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, scheduled to kickstart from September 10.
Facelifted Dacia Duster is likely to get upgrades on both inside and out. It gets a revised headlamps, tail lights, newly formulated bumpers and grille. Although there are no interior pictures of the new Dacia Duster, it is expected to receive all the upgrades, which the 2013 Dacia Logan Sedan has received. The vehicle also gets a revised instrument cluster and cruise control.
While talking about the engine configuration, it is likely to get the same- 1.5-litre K9K diesel and 1.6-litre petrol. However, there are two diesel versions- an 85PS and a 110PS, exactly like India. However, there is no official statement about its India launch, we are expecting the facelifted Duster to hit Indian shores by the 2014. It is also speculated that the facelifted Duster for Indian market will also get the four wheel-drive, and automatic version is also a possibility.
