Audi India after introducing A3 sedan in the market has launched the Cabriolet version at Rs INR 44.75 Lac (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The car will be made available in the country via Complete Built Unit (CBU) and thus, holding a pricey tag. The Audi A3 Cabriolet is based on the parent company Volkswagen’s MQB platform. In terms of features, the convertible model gets bi-xenon headlamps, LED tail lights and soft top, which is retractable under 18 seconds at a push of a button, while running at speeds up to 50Km/h. The car is powered by 1.8-liter TFSI turbo petrol engine which produces 177bhp and peak torque of 280Nm. The car accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in mere 7.8 seconds gaining the top speed of 242kmph.
