Audi is all set to launch its Q7 tomorrow. The much awaited SUV was revealed in Malaysia some days back and Indian automobile enthusiasts are keenly waiting for its launch here. Although automobile will be imported as a CBU unit initially, local assembly is expected to get started in 2016.

The new Audi Q7 is furnished with many changes. It runs on a 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 engine delivering a maximum power of 333 bhp and torque of 440 Nm. The German vehicle has got an 8-speed tiptronic transmission which helps it reach a top speed of 250 kmph. If that was less, the car can do 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds which is 1.6 seconds better than the previous version. Most importantly, SUV is 300 kg lighter, partial credit for which goes to new smaller dimensions. It is 37 mm shorter and 15 mm less wide than its predecessor.

Talking about the outside looks, new Audi Q7 gets a bolder grille with modified headlamps. The new rectangular LED tail-lamps combined with new bumpers, both at front and back, give the car a stunning look. Even the interiors are not left untouched and the SUV gets a new Media center knob and gear lever. Apart from these upgrades, the improved Q7 is expected to get all attributes like a new infotainment system connected to a Bose audio system, leather seats with electric adjustment, panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, touchpad, a 360-degree camera, Matrix LED headlamps and Audi’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’ all-digital instrument cluster.
