Ford rolls out 10-millionth SYNC equipped vehicle

Ford has rolled out the 10-millionth vehicle equipped with its awesome Voice-Activated System Ford SYNC. This highly innovative out-of-the-box technology originated six years back, and since its inception it has won several accolades. Ford SYNC helps enormously to the drivers while driving the vehicle as the same moment of time, it enables them to be connected completely to the vehicle through voice commands, without any danger of mishappenings.

Ford EcoSport was the first vehicle to showcase FORD SYNC with voice control feature in India. It gives an unbelievable in-car connectivity experience to the customers. Jim Farley, Ford executive vice president of Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln, acknowledged the very fact by stating that,"SYNC has helped us to think and act more like a technology company. It has forever changed how we look at our business and how we respond to our customers. Ultimately, SYNC embodies what Ford is all about – going further to turn innovative ideas into products that are affordable, attainable and valuable to millions of people." He further added that," SYNC was more than just a technology breakthrough, it has reshaped how we see ourselves as a company.”

Ford has already made an announcement regarding the launch of SYNC AppLink in India by 2014. It will further personalize the in-car experience, enabling customers to control content and applications on their smartphones from the driver’s seat using simple voice commands. Additionally, it will also consolidate Ford's position as the leader in innovative, interactive features in vehicles in the auto-sector.
