Renault, the French automaker has unveiled the much-awaited Renault Duster facelift, which will also make its way to the Indian car market. The company hasn't revealed much about the launch time of the car, but we expect it to be showcased at the next year's Indian Auto Expo.
At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the company presented the Duster under Dacia badge with some cosmetic upgrades. The company has given some minor tweaks to both inside and out, which makes it look more appealing than ever.
The most visible change that new Duster has is the dual-tone chrome grille, while the Dacia features the honeycomb grille. The refreshed model also comes equipped with restyled headlamps with double-optic units and DRLs, new roof rails, revised tail-lamps, redesigned scuff plate and chrome-tipped exhaust pipe.
Inside the cabin, the car looks similar to that of the regular model. The only changes to the interior includes a new instrument cluster, steering-integrated control and a new centre console featuring Renault's infotainment system.
The new Duster will retain the same engine configuration- a 1.5-litre K9K engine which is tuned to offer two power output- 85PS and 110PS and a 1.6-litre petrol motor. It is also speculated that the new model could also feature a new 1.2-litre TCe turbocharged petrol engine, which will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for more updates on the same. Cheers!!!
