Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) registered total sales of 14,470 units in July 2013 when compared to 16,062 units last year. Sales declined by 10%. The company exported 2,955 units of the Etios series last month.The company sold 11,515 units in the domestic market in July 2013 as compared to 14,574 units in the corresponding month in 2012.
Toyota will introduce the hybrid version of the Camry in the coming month and it is getting ready to introduce the all-new Corolla Altis next year. The Altis has been the best seller in its segment, until recently it got some stiff competition from the new Hyundai Elantra. The Corolla has been the best seller in that segment for years, and only the Civic came close to displacing it from its throne. However, with the new Corolla Altis things could change once again for the Toyota brand in the D segment.
