Butterfly Gandhimathi drops after bulk deal

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances dropped 2.44% to Rs 472 at 14:51 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 4.60 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 472.65 per share at 11:48 IST on BSE.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 424.70 points or 1.29% at 32,581.57

Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, 4.62 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4,916 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 480.70 and a low of Rs 468 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 661 on 18 January 2018. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 157 on 9 August 2017.

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances reported net profit of Rs 1.68 crore in Q3 December 2017 as compared with net loss of Rs 26.23 crore in Q3 December 2016. Net sales rose 75.78% to Rs 141.01 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
