Nifty October 2018 futures at premium
The Nifty October 2018 futures traded at 10880, a premium of 21.75 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10858.25 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 11.76 lakh crore compared to Rs 7.74 lakh crore in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 150.05 points or 1.36% to settle at 10,858.25.
Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Bajaj Finance October 2018 futures traded at 2223, at a premium from spot closing price of 2222.05. Reliance Industries October 2018 futures traded at 1207.40, at a premium from spot closing price of 1201.20. Yes Bank October 2018 futures traded at 213, at a premium from spot closing price of 212.15.
The October 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 25 October 2018.
