Amongst the first solar power plants in India to acheive IMS certification
GMR Infrastructure announced that its Gujarat Solar Power Plant, Patan, a subsidiary of GMR Group has been awarded the prestigious Integrated Management System (IMS) certification for effectively managing the quality, environment and occupational health and safety in its 25 MW power plant.GMR's Gujarat Solar Power Plant is the first and only solar power plant in the entire Charanka Solar Park, Patan to have earned this unique international benchmark of excellence.
It is also among the first solar power plants in India to achieve this distinction. The certification will be valid for 3 years till 21 June 2018.
Under the IMS certification, GMR's Solar PV Power Plant achieved prestigious ISO 9001:2008 certification for outstanding quality management; ISO 14001:2004 for excellent environmental management and OHSAS 18001:2007 for ensuring top quality occupational health and safety.
