With reference to the earlier letter dated 09 July 2015 informing about the shutdown of the industry due to Godavari Pushkarams and taking up of annual maintenance works (outage) from 10 July 2015 to 26 July 2015, International Paper APPM announced that subsequently Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) has issued a closure order to the manufacturing facility located at Rajahmundry, East Godavari District under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act.The Company filed an appeal on 23 July 2015 against the above closure order in National Green Tribunal, which has admitted the petition by the Company and posted the matter for 28 July 2015. The Company is engaged in discussions with APPCB and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
